After a couple of minutes searching for a template on the Internet I found what I was serching for at The Team Camaro site, spank you all!
It worked just great after I adjusted the scale in the Xerox machine.

Bought a Dremel copy to the rest of the work.

i think this is going to be great when finished AND working! I have alse ordered a radio delete hatch for the stereo hole. I´m puttin the stereo in the glove box.

…….has now started to work on that panel to change some gauges. A lot easier to work when the seats are out!

Think this small fuel gauge will be great! The factiry tach will replace the old broken fuel gauge.

…due to a very late container shipment from US I had to leave this years work to 2010!

The 2010 list:

[-] Mount the small fuel gauge between the speed- and old fuel gauge.

[-] Mount a new tachometer instead of the broken old fuel gauge.

[-] Mount new dash pad.

[-] Mount the Deluxe enblems on the door panels .

[-] Mount a new horn button more similar to the original ones.

[-] Check the door window adjustments.

[-] Mount a under hood lamp.

[-] Mount a cowl hood insulation

[-] Mount new upholstery on the inner pillar posts.

[-] Mount a new “cowl hood” air filter kit.

[X] Gettin rid of my electrical probs with blown fuses!

The Big car event in my hometown is Wheels Nat´s Norr
The Hugger and me got the first price in 1:st generation for the Camaro Club Swedens own event in the event!

..my friend Nikke visited but he didn´t get of my garage due to seroius engine probs!

Another local car event was Umea Street Car festival. I had never been to this event before and we got home with Best American Car and Peoples Choice!!

This is a small car meeting in a village outside Umea that grown over the years. Nice weather, huh?

The summer turned atumn and we did some camera testings.

Mats Alfredsson took a serie of really great lookin Hugger pics yesterday evening at dawn! Here are two samples:

Me and my son went to a local Street Car show in my hometown late at saturday night.

After spending a couple of hours among appr. 100 great lookin street cars with japaneese, american and europeean origin it was time for final – the winners in each class and peoples choise to be presented! The classes were Best Japanese, best European, Best American and Best in show – Peoples choice!

…and who got grand slam?? THE HUGGER with it´s friend The MiniHugger!! We won Best American Car and Peoples choice!

I don´t think we had the nicest car at the event but obviousley the the people thouht so and as you can tell, we won´t go against the people in this case!

Here are a buch of pics from this local car event that gathered 1.100 cars and over 10.000 visitors! We in the local area of Camaro Club Sweden had a get-together-tent and a small contest with a prize winner in each gen of Camaros.

Finally the BIG package from the US arrived, like 4 months delayed!
Due to this I won´t be able to mount all the things I had in mind before this season!

But, this week I got something for the Hugger – large bumper guards!

I started with removing the rear bumper, something I haven´t  done since the car arrived from the States. I painted the inside of the bumper as a rust prevention:

Actually the rear bumper guards fitted lika a glove, that´s  big even for a “bolt on” !

….it was worse when trying to mount the front bumper guards!   I had to use a grinder to make them fit properly! I think the bumper has a difference in profile during the years!? My front bumper should be a rechromed original one but who knows?
I also had to make new mounting brackets for the top of the guards, the final result was OK I think!

The reason for mounting theese bumper guards is that the mounting holes in the front already were there so I guess my car had this guards sometime before!

After spending week after week in the paint shop I finally got the grille back to my garage so I could start remounting it!

First I had to add the center bowtie enblem and the polished moldings:

Now was the right time to put som new fresch buchings and screws from NPD in place:

Here is the grille and front bvumper in place after hours od adjustments.
I also took the front spoiler of just for testing and I kind of like the apparence!

I gotta take the HUgger for its first ride this year and this is the final result outside the garage:

This year I´ll try to write all Camaro related posts in English for our non Swedish guests!
The work with the Camaro is still keepin a low profile due to many things! First of all I´m still waiting for a bunch of parts from the US to show up and second, the grille is not finished painted either….!

One thing to celebrate though is that the Hugger was born 40 years ago this very exact week in the Fisher Body Factory! Hurray, hurray ,hurray!
